InchDairnie Leads LeBlanq’s Scotland Joyriding Weekend
September rolled around and it was soon time to take the lead for our main weekend with LeBlanq as their luxury whisky partner for the 2023/24 and this time we were in the heart of Perthshire at the beautiful Dunalistar Hotel Suites, on the banks of Loch Rannoch. The guests were joined by none other than the most decorated Olympic cycling couple in history, Dame Laura Kenny and Sir Jason Kenny, who provided great cycling support out on the roads surrounding Loch Rannoch.
The opening ceremony to the weekend? A cask building demonstration from Speyside Cooperage and a RyeLaw Rob Roy cocktail served to kick things off.
Throughout the weekend, Joyrides and hikes were plentiful, allowing for all to enjoy the outdoors whichever way they wanted. For guests who were not cycling, mornings were spent kayaking on the serene loch under blue skies, with a few brave enough to take a chilly dip, before unwinding in a wood-fired sauna.
On Saturday evening, a five-course Michelin-starred feast created by Chef Lorna McNee celebrating the remarkable careers of Laura and Jason. Each course paid tribute to their 12 combined gold medals, finishing with a RyeLaw paired dessert.
Rob, our brand ambassador, led an exclusive RyeLaw tasting, sharing insight into our innovative distillation process and the bold, complex flavours of our malted rye Scotch whisky, hosted by Annie Emmerson.
The weekend wrapped up with Tales of a Rainbow Jersey, where Laura Jason shared candid stories from their inspiring Olympic careers.
