We’re thrilled to have won The Renewable Energy Implementation Award from the Drinks Business Green Awards. The distillery was built with energy and resource efficiency in mind, so it’s great to have our efforts acknowledged by our peers in the industry!
On the win, InchDairnie Founder Ian, had this to say;
“Before a single brick was laid and a single pipe welded we designed InchDairnie using the reduce, reuse and recycle philosophy to our whole distillery design. While still on paper we reduced our water demand to below the industry target. At no point did we ever compromise on the quality and consistency of our whisky. While operating the distillery we measure everything against our targets every week. The distillery team is key in maintaining and improving our performance and it is thanks to their diligence that we continue to be the best in our field. Thanks to the Drinks Business for recognising everyone’s efforts at InchDairnie Whisky.”
