RyeLaw is Officially Launched in Germany
“A very special, extremely successful, innovative whiskey.” Joachim Teschke
The month of July saw our Managing Director, Ian Palmer, spend two fantastic days in Hamburg and Berlin, officially launching RyeLaw in Germany. Along with our distribution partner Kammer-Kirsch, we hosted two fantastic tasting events, in top whisky and cocktails bars in the respective cities.
Attended by industry experts, press and influencers, Ian spoke to the crowd of his great pleasure to, finally, bring RyeLaw to the European market and we are so pleased to see how well it has been received.
“The result is a truly special taste: a rye with a Scottish identity from InchDairnie. That was exactly what Ian Palmer was aiming for and it will be interesting to see how the distillery’s other excellent brands develop. Ian gives the whiskey the time it needs individually for this: “It’s ready when it is ready.“ Stefan Bugler , Whisky Writer.
“I was extremely surprised by the taste and the quality of the bottling. As a proven single malt Scotch whiskey enthusiast, other whiskeys rarely get lost in my glass. This one will be an exception. A real rye whiskey on the nose without any hint of solvent or glue, originating from 2017 and matured in virgin oak casks.” Joachim Teschke, Whisky Writer
“I’m not a big fan of rye whiskeys, because the already very spicy rye whiskey is usually (as with InchDairnie) matured in fresh oak barrels and thus gets even more spiciness. Too much spiciness for me in most cases. But the InchDairnie is different. It starts with a strong sweetness and vanilla note right from the start. The spiciness is there, but it doesn’t bother me. A very nice evening in a TOP bar with great food, interested guests and a very attentive Ian Palmer, who took the time for every guest! And the whiskey? Well I like him!” Peter Moser, Whisky Writer.
A Sustainable Partnership with Muntons Malt
In this ever-changing landscape of sustainability, we feel we are in safe hands. Much of our carbon footprint is in our cereals, so working directly with both Munton’s and our local Fife farmer at Balgonie Estate, we are working together to reduce this.
Our Longstanding Partnership with Muntons Malt
Our partnership with Muntons has been crucial to our success as a Fife grown, Fife distilled and Fife matured distillery. The relationship we have developed with Balgonie Estates as a result of this, is essential to the ongoing production of our RyeLaw whisky.
